In January 2011, ERFS and EQ joined forces to create a program that was developed and tested in 2010. For both in situ and other services, EQ and ERFS have entered into an Interoperability Agreement whereby each company can offer any combination of EQ and ERFS services and programs on either company’s proposals, bids, and contracts. Additionally, EQ and ERFS will cross share personnel, field equipment, locations, and geographical services.
While EQ is well known for landfill, waste processing, and recycling, but a significant part of their business is in situ soil treatment, with removal of soils to an EQ landfill if a goal is not obtained by a certain time. EQ also specializes in metals treatment, both in situ and ex situ.
ERFS’ core business is in situ remediation, including the development of technologies, physical devices, instrumentation, strategies and field equipment, while also providing financial services, Pay-for-Performance contracting, financial modeling, in-house full time field services and equipment across the United States.
EQ and ERFS’ in situ programs have very little overlap and together have the highest possible level of solutions, especially to engineers and consultants that are increasingly required by clients to fix costs and risks, while not overstepping their own risk models.
