G4: Self-Installing In Situ

Known as Generation 4, or G4, Self Installing In Situ (SII) is a set of technologies exclusively developed by ERFS to allow fixtures to be installed during site delineation of soil, groundwater, DNAPL or LNAPL. The low cost devices, selected and installed based on field screening during boring investigations or well installations, create a “self-installed” network of devices for remediation when connected to portable ERFS equipment and instrumentation at the surface. This methodology greatly accelerates projects, and eliminates duplication of costs and time delays. The program is quite extensive, involving years of development. In 2011, ERFS completed intellectual property development and commercialization of this new science, and will be delivering these services on a regular basis.
